Department of

Surgery

The Department of Surgery serves as a cornerstone of tertiary medical care, clinical instruction, and surgical innovation. Standardized to deliver both elective and emergency operative management, the department combines evidence-based clinical practices with cutting-edge surgical technology to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

It acts as an integrative clinical hub where general surgeons, sub-specialists, resident physicians, and medical interns collaborate under strict sterile and technical guidelines.

Beyond patient care, the department maintains a strong academic mandate, training the next generation of medical graduates, surgical residents, and allied healthcare professionals through structured residency tracks, bedside teaching, and hands-on operative mentorship.
