The Department of Pathology at Bangladesh Medical College (BMC) serves as the cornerstone of diagnostic medicine, providing comprehensive laboratory services and histopathological expertise essential for accurate disease diagnosis and treatment planning. From routine blood tests and biochemical analyses to advanced histopathology, cytopathology, and molecular diagnostics, our department supports patient care, medical education, and research initiatives. Our Services

Histopathology: Tissue processing, biopsy analysis, and surgical specimen examination for cancer diagnosis and grading.
Cytopathology: Fine needle aspiration (FNA), Pap smears, and fluid cytology for early cancer detection.
