Description: OPD - Our Out Patient Department treates Acute & Chronic Cardiac patients by a dedicated Consultant panel & skilled supporting staffs with a modern Cardiac Lab facilities. IPD - Our Coronary Care Unit (CCU) also called a Cardiac Intensive Care unit is a specialized hospital ward that delivers 27/7 Continuous Monitoring, Intensive Medical Therapies and urgent post procedure care for patients with acute , life threatening conditions [ eg: Acute Myocardial Infarction ( Heart Attacks) ,Unstable Angina ( severe unpredictable chest pain ), Severe Cardiac Arhythmias (Dangerous Irregular Heart Rhythms) , Acute Decompensated Heart Failure or Cardiac Shock etc.]. Service Provided: The primary clinical services and interventions provided in this CCU include : 1. Continuous Cardiac and Vital signs monitoring. 2. Acute emergency stabilization ( like Defibrillation and Cardioversion , Thrombolytic therapy , Targeted temperature management etc. ) & Advanced Interventions ( like ETT Intubation, CV Catheterization etc. ). 3. Pre and Post- Procedural care ( like Catheterization lab support , Cardiac device management etc.) 4. Advanced life support services ( like Ventilatory support, Titration of Intravenous drugs, Multidisciplinary evaluation etc.) Procedure Performed: ECG, Echo Cardiogram (Regular & Portable), ETT, 24 hr. Holter Monitoring, Portable X-Ray, ABG, Central Venus Catheterisation, Endotrachial Tube Intubation, Paracentesis, Lumber Puncture, Chest Drain Introduction etc. Specialized Clinic: Heart Failure Clinic. Diagnostic & Support facilities: 24 hrs. Cardiac Enzymes & All shorts of Pathological and Radiological Investigations, Continuous Patient Monitoring in fully equiped CCU with Mechanical Ventilatory Support. Academic & Training activities: Regularly taking Lecture Classes, Tutorial Classes & Clinical Classes. Internee Doctor Training (Troughout the year and Training of Honorary Medical Officers, Training of Nurses & Technicians.
